About Us

 

Aquatic Resource Management provides management services to pond owners, lake associations, sportsmen clubs, housing development companies and recreational fisheries, as well as aquaculture firms looking for consulting services.  Aquatic Resource Management services include growing and stocking native fish, aquatic vegetation management and control, fishery sampling services, population analysis and maintenance, consulting current and start up fish farming facilities, and youth and adult educational seminars. 

 

Aquatic Resource Management produces fish for pond stocking in both indoor facilities and outdoor production ponds.  Aquatic Resource Management manages over 80 acres of ponds for production and utilizes a hatchery for spawning adults and hatching fry. We provide the following species to clients throughout the Midwest including but not limited to; largemouth bass, bluegill, channel catfish, walleye, crappie, northern pike, trout, fathead minnows, and grass carp. 

 

The company has expanded into managing private fisheries, monitoring water quality in lakes and streams, controlling aquatic weeds for the Department of Natural Resources as well as several County Conservation Boards, organizing and hosting pond management workshops, providing watershed management and renovating/restoring private lakes.  The business currently has clients in six states, manages over 1200 acres of private fisheries, has designed and helped three new aquaculture facilities begin operation since 2002, while continuing to expand its own operation.
